Immigration Evaluations
A Mental Health or Psychological Evaluation adds a tremendous value to an immigration case. An expert evaluation conducted by a mental health professional (in English or Spanish) along with a comprehensive report can be used by your attorney to support your case and positively impact your immigration proceedings.
An Immigration Psychological / Mental Health Evaluation is an assessment that is used to help immigration courts determine whether a person can legally remain in the United States. An immigration evaluation starts by talking with your attorney. If an attorney recommends that you and/or members of your family should have an assessment completed, we will gather any relevant information about your case along with any specific legal issues.
The immigration evaluation includes questions regarding, but are not limited to, your current immigration status; your personal and family history; your work history; and any medical or psychiatric history that may be relevant. We will then complete a written report which can be sent to your attorney if you request it.
